Havant and Waterlooville stand just three hours of football away from a date at Villa Park tonight after an epic second half comeback saw them triumph over Forest Green Rovers 2-1 in the Quarter Final of the FA Trophy. Playing their part in an uprising that saw all the remaining Conference sides dumped out of the competition today, the Hawks weathered a considerable assault at the Lawn in the first half that began when Neil Grayson put the home side in front with just ten minutes on the clock.

The second half saw a reversal in roles as the Hawks started to dominate, blowing the match wide open in the 62nd minute when Paul Wood bundled home James Taylorís delicate chip on the line. Fifteen minutes from the end Tim Hambley made Hawks history when he brought down Aaron Kerrís long goal kick and fired it past Steve Perrin superbly. For the first time in their history the visitors could celebrate taking a Conference scalp, and in doing so go forward with Tamworth, Aylesbury and Burscough into Mondayís semi final draw.
