James Hayter

James boasts an illustrious career in league football, with over 600 appearances at that level. He holds the record for the fastest Football League hat-trick ever, and has been on the winning side in three Football League play-off finals.

James began his career as a youth player at Bournemouth, and stayed 10 years with the Cherries clocking up 359 appearances and an impressive 93 goals. In May 2007 he then signed for Doncaster Rovers for a club record transfer fee of 200,000 and played alongside fellow Hawk Brian Stock, scoring in the 2008 play-off final against Leeds United that saw Doncaster promoted to the Championship. At Doncaster James played 162 games and scored 33 goals.

In the summer of 2012 James joined Yeovil Town for a three season run, playing 119 games and scoring 25 goals. He then joined the Hawks in June 2015, appearing in a total of 45 games last season.
