|Pedro goes by the name Pelé and is of Portuguese origin, where he played the first ten years of his career, including a stint in the top flight with Belenenses.
He then moved to Southampton in July 2006 for a fee rumoured to be a million pounds and played 37 games for the Saints before moving on to West Bromwich Albion for the two seasons following in another £1 million move. 24 appearances later, and after West Brom’s relegation from the Premiership, Pedro moved on to Falkirk in the Scottish League and in recent seasons has appeared for Northwich Victoria, Hednesford Town and last season Hayes and Yeading Utd before arriving at Westleigh Park at the end of March 2013, playing five games at the end of the season.
By the end of the 2013/14 season Pedro had amassed 41 appearances for the Hawks in all, and last season assumed a player/coach role at the club as he worked toward his UEFA B licence. He continues to coach at the club while appearing mostly in local cup games.
