Chris Holland

Chris joined local rivals Eastleigh in the summer of 2010 having relocated to Southampton from his roots in the west country. With the Spitfires he made 46 appearances during the 2010/11 season, scoring from his defensive position six times. He then moved on to sign for the Hawks in June 2011.

Chris started his career as a trainee at AFC Bournemouth, and has had spells with Bristol City, Exeter City, Team Bath and loans at Weston-super-Mare and Gloucester City. However his career highlight so far is a five season stint with Bath City starting in March 2005, where he became an integral part of the side’s push to the Blue Square Premier through the play-offs in May 2010. He also scored the opening goal in Bath’s 2-0 FA Cup first round win at Grimsby Town in 2009. With City he also won two player of the season awards, making over 200 appearances and scoring 36 goals.
