Darren Annon

Born 1972
Darren started his playing career in 1995 at Carshalton Athletic, but stayed for just one season before moving to Brentford in a £20,000 transfer. Having made a total of 23 appearances in all competitions for the side, as well as scoring 4 goals, he moved a season later to Stevenage Borough and then to Enfield before starting a three year residence with Farnborough Town in August 2000.

With around 70 appearances for ‘Boro under his belt he moved on to then Conference National side Margate in June 2003 to make a total of 42 appearances over two seasons, coming up against the Hawks in the 5-1 thrashing at Ashford in November 2004. Having spent a considerable amount of time with the Hawks recovering from injury, Annon signed in October 2005, quickly racking up a total of 30 appearances through the remainder of the season.

While Darren only made 8 league appearances last season he came close to winning the club’s unsung hero award for his reliability and consistent support of the club.

Transferred to Redbridge FC after a loan spell in Feb 2008.
