Geoff Pitcher

(Central Midfield)
Born 1975
Geoff started life as a Millwall trainee before spending three years at Watford, but it was at Kingstonian where he found regular football for three seasons from August 1998 as the side started life in the Conference. While with the Ks he played alongside ex-Hawks manager Dave Leworthy and assisted in winning the FA Trophy in 1999 and 2000. During that time he also gained England Semi-Pro caps.

In his last season with the side his 15 goal total made him their leading scorer, and while Kingstonian dropped back to the Ryman League, Geoff moved on to Brighton and Hove Albion for a £55,000 transfer fee. Since then he has furthered his Conference experience with loan spells at Woking, Dagenham and Redbridge, Farnborough Town, Stevenage Borough and Barnet.

Geoff signed for the Hawks in July 2004 having spent a six match period on loan with the side in February. Although not a regular starter through most of last season, improved performances from the ‘pitbull’ restored his reputation with fans in the closing months.

Unable to find favour with manager Ian Baird however, Geoff was released at the start of September 2005 after which he immediately signed for Sutton United.
