Anybody any idea why the pitch has been narrowed at both sides?

Because if you only done one side it would be uneven

Sensible answer now I think it’s because the manager wanted the pitch the same width as the training ground pitch or something like that

i assumed it was because our formation, we dont play with wingers in the traditional sense so all our midfielders are quite narrow

I had also been told that the pitch width reduction was to match the training pitch at Front Lawn.
