Stat Attack - training milestone reached

Last night's session at Warblington School saw the total Many Shades of Grey's attendance at Hawks in the Community training sessions pass the magical 5,000 mark.

That is the number of people who have turned up at training sessions provided by the club since we started to record attendance at sessions as part of our Affiliation with Hampshire FA in May 2015.

Obviously, it's not 5,000 different people who have turned up once each. No, that would be silly. And it's not just one person who has rocked up on his lonesome 5,000 times either. Average attendance is around 20 people aged 50 or over per session.

Because no record was kept prior to May 2015, we don't know what the overall figure is likely to be, but it is probable that there were about 400 attendances between September 2014 and April 2015.

Don't forget that to be part of the Many Shades of Grey experience, sessions are held every Monday and Thursday at 11.00am at South Downs College, and every Monday night at Warblington School at 7.30pm. All sessions cost £3.00 per person, and you can just turn up and play. We could do with a couple more regulars on a Monday night.
