Bradbury on the prowl

Postby Probably Shirts » Thu Feb 08, 2018 6:21 pm

Always eager to bolster his striking options, Hawks manager Lee Bradbury was at the Many Shades training session this morning, keeping an eagle eye on the potential for new recruits. :?

As part of his scouting mission, Lee went in goal, facing the goalscoring threat of all the players in turn. The closest he came to conceding was when he had to dive sharply to his right to keep a Steve Hall thunderbolt out of the bottom corner.

Sadly Many Shades goalscoring legends such as Rich Bishop and Bobby De Ste Croix, and even yours truly, failed to make any impact on Lee's composed stint between the sticks. Only Ryan Young's position looks threatened by this morning's efforts. :eh:

Fair credit to Lee and Shaun for allegedly/apparently jogging all the way from South Downs back to WLP afterwards, but can we have our bus passes back now please?
