Thanks for the kind words all. Lovely to hear different people's memories and takes on him. Not sure this covid world was for him and not getting to football. I mean seriously, at 98 years old, pains in his legs, took him an age to get dressed, and yet despite having to stay in his scoot at the bottom of the stand, he was still making his way to the ground in his club tie and blazer on a bitter February day. That is some love of the game he had. :clap:

Will gladly toast a beer or 2 once things get back to normal. :thumbup:
never get out of the boat, absolutely god damned right, unless you were going all the way...
