2020/21 Squad

Postby PO6_Hawk » Wed Aug 05, 2020 2:01 pm

Confirmed signings for 2020/21 Season:

Worner
Tupper

Read
Straker
Magri
Robson
Walton?

Fogden
Drury
Deacon
Gomis
Poku
Taylor?

Wright
Iaciofano

Looks like a few more bodies are required, however an exciting top 2 on paper after the disappointment of losing Jonah, Alfie & Danny.
Some good attacking midfielders too, hoping another 'enforcer' will join to bolster it up a little!

From the recent podcast with Henry and Paul he said that 8 trailists are joining training from the 18th to see which ones he thinks will keep improving the squad and get numbers back up to bolster the squad, I think need a couple centre backs, couple central midfield, another winger and another forward or two, first three signings made though godfrey, Joe and tommy are awesome signings, young hungry to do well and hopefully can go that one better, squad is looking good and excited to see and hear which players join us next

Details of the trials game

I was a little surprised we let joe cook go, I’m sure there’s a plan though.

On paper another fantastic signing in Moussa Diarra.
Both highly respected players at Woking and both turned down new deals to stay in the Conference Premier.

Talks of reduced budgets etc... don't seem to be bothering Havant at present!
Im assuming this is the final of the 4/5 'experienced' signings? Maybe some of the other spaces in the squad will be filled by the trialist's in Monday nights game.

Hawks XI won 4-0, no team sheets only recognised Benny Read in the video, although the camera work never really focused that close enough to identify players

Looking a lot stronger now with the additions of Diarra, Clifford and albiet the unknown Ajakaiye!

Not sure if Dennett is still involved, but expecting another striker or two if not.
I'm sure the upcoming friendlies will confirm.
