Matchworn Shirts & Training Wear

Postby PO6_Hawk » Tue May 07, 2019 12:55 pm

Do the club do anything with the seasons kit at the end of the season?
I know other clubs do kit raffles or auctions?
Not sure if the players keep their shirts or gave them away at the end of the last game, but would be interested to know if any are knocking about in the kitroom still? Wouldn't mind a match worn shirt from the Conference season...

In days gone by, the people that sponsored a player would be presented with the players shirt at the end of the season, and rightly so, in my opinion.

However, this seemed to stop about 4 or 5 years ago. It appears an area where the club has gone backwards in recent times.

Perhaps someone who has sponsored a player this season can shed some light?

Certain training shirts were given out at the end of the season as my son was lucky enough to get one

The Jamie Collins shirt (complete with final game of the season FUNK) that was sponsored by the LondonBranch from seasons past has pride of place in my study. Obviously I'm *meant* to be sharing it with Skif…….. :shifty:
Reserves the right to randomly switch between "glass half full" and "glass half empty" on a whim.

If you sponsored a player you should of received his shirt if you asked him. A lot of players kept both a home and an away shirt this season.
