academy keeper oliver eryes made his debut

some poor sholing finishing and heroic last ditch defending saw the hawks through to final against the winners of basingstoke and saints :geek:

As i live closer to Sholing than WLP and was unexpectedly not doing much at 7pm i thought id go, stood next to the dugout and was a nice throwback to hear galey moaning at the ref as bradders let him and Paul Robinson run the show!

3 nil up, passing it around, making chances, tackles and wining second balls... cruising as they say that was the first half hour, then for the next 60 mins Sholing pretty much battered us. you'd have been hard picked to guess who the lower league team were, it took a goal line clearance from woody to keep it at 3-2 by throwing himself length ways across the goal line as we struggled to pass it to each other.

in the words of one of our players during the second half " its a fucking shambles"

still we won and probably that's the key thing.

Molly did well in defence, the young goalie did well , id expect a loan goalie inbound if dudz is injured for next week.
