Hard to take any positives from that. Carts looking decent when he came on perhaps being the only one.

Long balls all game long swept up by their defence. Then they hit us with pace and we couldn't cope with it.

Hard to believe it was pretty much the same side which pushed Orient close last weekend. A BIG turnaround needed for Tuesday game..

Yep, never seen anything like it. all we had to do was play the great stuff we've being doing with no reward, and we would have got our reward! what the **** was that hoofball shite about?

positives? at half time we were relegated. 4 points is doable.

I love our team and we go again tuesday :geek:

but how have we naused up such an opportunity...

Some thoughts then, firstly I don’t go away often, that was almost a different team to the one I’ve seen at WLP, lined up 442 with woody at left back and the back 4 struggled throughout, rose and cordner looked like they’d never met each other before, the midfield couldn’t pass the ball to each other and up front we had no luck, 2 or 3 times the ball could have dropped to us but didn’t. We didn’t deserve anything mind but to be fair it’s not often at all we’ve played that poorly.

The Maidstone goals were both close to offside it appeared from our poor vantage point, certainly the first the striker stopped twice and looked at the lino before scoring, the goals were similar in that both times gaping holes in the midfield and centre of defence allowed a through ball that we were nowhere near,, typically however the same lino stuck his flag up very quickly to disallow one for us.

As we left Bradders had them out on the pitch and few words appeared to be said, let’s hope for a reaction on Tuesday!

Hi all, my first post.

Agree with all Pompeyred has written. It was a poor performance against a poor Stones side.

My one real observation. Humping the ball up to Quigley hoping for something is not good enough. We took Boreham Wood apart by playing some great football on the floor.
